Frequently Asked Questions
How does the 7-day free trial work? ▼
Create an opencan.ai account and choose a plan to start your 7-day free trial. You provide a payment method at signup, but your account will not be charged until the trial period ends on day 8. You get full access to all features during the trial, including a license key for OCCode CLI and IDE. You can cancel anytime before day 8 without being charged.
Can I cancel anytime? ▼
Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or billing portal. If you cancel during the 7-day free trial (before day 8), you will not be charged at all. If you cancel after your subscription has been charged, you'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. No questions asked.
Do you offer refunds? ▼
No refunds after billing. Since all plans include a 7-day free trial where you are not charged, we do not issue refunds once your subscription has been charged. You can cancel anytime before day 8 without being charged. After billing, you can cancel to prevent future charges, and your access continues until the end of your billing period.
How do team and business plans work? ▼
Team plans include up to 12 members, and Business plans up to 24 members. Each member gets their own license key and full access to all features. You can manage members from your dashboard. All plans include a 7-day free trial where your account is not charged until day 8.
What happens to my data when I downgrade? ▼
Your data is retained for 90 days after downgrading. After that, it will be deleted unless you upgrade again.
What is a license key? ▼
A license key (format: OCCODE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) is generated when you subscribe through your opencan.ai account. It activates the OCCode CLI and IDE features. You need an opencan.ai account to download and generate your license key. Your key is automatically renewed with each payment. A license key is required to use OCCode after the 7-day trial period.
